Why Change Now?
Everyone has been affected by these testing times and personally for me there was a saturation point when I decided that I should be in charge of how my life should be…
In 2020, when we were started to work remotely, a couple of months I worked in my regular job, as I was still adjusting to the new-life scenario of WFH. One day realized that I had all the time (all from getting ready to the office, travel, etc) I need. I was longing for a change and used this spare time to introspect, did some retrospection as well, researched, analyzed, weighed all the pros and cons, and with little hesitation enrolled for the online Digital Marketing course.
During the course, worked on my SWOT analysis, picked up Content Writing as my specialty with a focus on Public Relations.
This is one of the best decisions I have ever made…
And this is to those people who said Digital Marketing is only about writing some posts on Social Media, Like & Share Content, and browse through the Internet !!!
No, it’s not. Digital Marketing is a technology. It is a process to put a strategy in place, to understand the psychology of people, to help businesses get a foothold in the market, to analyze the data, to have a growth plan, and a lot more.
One thing you should not be petrified about in life is CHANGE. When your regular workplace encourages you to pursue your passion, don’t hesitate to seize the opportunity.
That’s when I stumbled upon BasicBuzz’s Internship Program and my conversation with Mr. Shafi is still fresh in my memory. It’s a WIN-WIN situation and working with the dynamic team elevates my spirits.
This internship is a catalyst for both my personal and professional lives.
- Improved my time management.
- Strengthened my research and analytical skills.
- Boosted my productivity rate.
On a personal note, helped me to pick up a healthy lifestyle as I have to stay strong — emotionally, mentally, and physically.
From being a newbie to the Digital Marketing world to a confident Content Writer now, I was never content enough as I am today. Still, a long way to go and this is just the beginning…
Take charge of your career. Only then you will realize the plethora of opportunities you have.
If your mind asks “why to change now?”, question it back, “Why Not Now?”
